Azienda Agricola Le Morette Valerio Zenato today is one of the most dynamic realities of the production area of Lugana D.O.C. It is headquartered in San Benedetto di Lugana, in the thin strip that separates the southern shore of Lake Garda from the Small Lake "Del Frassino", an important natural site and nature reserve.
The company farm is spread over 30 hectares of vineyards divided into three estates, two in San Benedetto di Lugana and one in close proximity to the Palace of Sirmione, in the closest to Lake Garda growing area. Here, there are the most tenacious soils, which sometimes force vines to extreme conditions, regarding especially water reserves. However, this is the area of the first territorial cru, the one where white wines with greater structure and characterized by a marked mineral features are produced. The company’s philosophy is based on the solid link with the territory whose balance is guaranteed in particular by the use of organic amendments and substances of natural origin. Each stage of the process, from the vine to harvest and vinification, is followed personally by the family with care, to guarantee a produce of character and personality.
