GRUPPO ITALIANO VINI was the first vinegrowing and winemaking company in Italy and among the first companies in the world to produce and commercialize valuable wines. The Gruppo owns 15 historic wineries, with well–renowed and spread all over the world brands, surrounded by charming vineyards of property (1,340 hectares) and situated in the most prestigious vinegrowing areas in Italy. Founded in 1986 it is situated in the eighteenth–century Villa Belvedere on Lake Garda in the province of Verona. Gruppo Italiano Vini has a peculiarity that makes it unique in the Italian winemaking panorama: it has been able to combine the virtues of a small structure with the comforts of great companies.
Today the winery is composed of the universe of the Gruppo, that follows with accuracy all the phases of the production process: cultivation of the vines, harvesting, vinification, maturing and bottling under the expert and professional guidance of agronomists, oenologists and cellar managers.
