The company is family–run, situated among the rolling hills at the foot of Mount Bernadia. In the winery they have been vinifying already since the beginning of the twentieth century, but the definitive setting was given in the sixties by the owner Alberto Micossi, who began to plant native vines in a rational way.
The 2.5 hectares of vineyards, situated entirely in the hills, are fragmented, in order to capture the various characteristics of the soil and consequently its typicality.
For over 50 years Ramandolo has been produced, lately also in the "Passito" version, which is laid to rest in barriques for about 12 months and then aged in the bottle.
In this land of important red wines, the Micossi wines are unforgettable for their aroma rich in special bouquets.
