The idea to start the production of high quality wines was of Renzo Bassani, my father, to which I owe the merit of having left to me this small but precious jewel that is Isola Augusta.The climate, mitigated by the proximity of the sea, together with the nature of the soils, has made possible, in this belt of the Friulian Coast, the fulfillment of the idea: to obtain a range of wines and sparkling wines highly selected and limited in quantity on purpose, flanked by the production of honey and of olive oil.The Isola Augusta estate was founded many centuries ago but became property of my family in the 50s.I am proud to present this modern and at the same time ancient company, that expresses the values of pure tradition.
