The winery was founded in 1949 by Giuliano Bortolomiol but the family tradition dates back to the eighteenth century and to the vineyards of the ancestor Bartolomeo. Graduated at the School of Enology of Conegliano, Giuliano has always wanted, as a personal mission, to honor and merit of Prosecco; he was, in effect, one of the founders of the Prosecco Confraternity and one of the promoters of the Sparkling Wine National Exhibition. Master the application of the Charmat method, Giuliano Bortolomiol was the first to realize Prosecco Brut. Today, the same spirit of research is driving his wife Ottavia and his daughters Maria Elena, Elvira, Luisa and Giuliana: technology, the highest quality, great importance are given to communication, even through guided tastings in the winery of Valdobbiadene.
