A stone’s throw from the river Piave, in the fertile countryside of Treviso, Ca’ di Rajo (Rajo is the ancient name of Rai) finds its origins. A history of vinegrowers related to the land sustained and guided by the beloved small church of Madonna del Carmine. The columns of the convent attached to it were found immured directly in the cottage and an engraved date – 1507 – testifies how long our roots are. In 1960 the Cecchetto family, then sharecroppers of Giol, turned the bare soil into vineyards of fine grapes with the sweat of their work and in 1972 they became owners.
Immersed in a plain surrounded by vineyards there is the winery, strictly suitable for the production and conservation of wines while maintaining the ideal temperature.
The winery, built in modern style, respects the typical architecture of the Piave area, and is equipped with modern winemaking facilities.
Careful hands transform the fruits of this land in high quality wines. Among these, Prosecco Spumante Cuve Brut, Prosecco Spumante Extra Dry, Prosecco Frizzante, Prosecco Superiore Millesimato DOCG Valdobbiadene Extra Dry, Rosé Frizzante, Pinot Grigio, Incrocio Manzoni Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Verduzzo, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Raboso Piave.
