On the lands that once belonged to the ancient Papadopoli family, of Cretan origin, over the centuries a culture of vinegrowing and winemaking has developed, full of charm and generous vines that have nourished the river Piave and the hand of man has preserved and enhanced over the years.
The Peruzzetto family, united to these lands by a strong bond, has spanned through generations of winemakers and created in Casa Roma, the old farmhouse purchased with sacrifice and hard work, the center and the beginning of a new vision of local winemaking.
Luigi Peruzzetto is the decisive maker of renewal. In his opinion, the connection with the land has meant the unceasing research to enhance the most authentic resources to obtain excellent results especially with the Raboso Piave, the local variety of the Marca Trevigiana area, today also ranked D.O.C.G. with the name of Malanotte with Incrocio Manzoni Bianco. The goal is the spread of these historical types beyond the boundaries of local and international wines at the highest levels of quality.
