Merotto is a family–owned winery founded over 100 years ago. It is located in Col San Martino (Treviso) in the heart of the production area of the "Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore", on the slopes of the Venetian Prealps halfway between Venice and Cortina d’Ampezzo, the famous queen of the Dolomites.

The work of three generations has led to the current enterprise configuration. The storage and processing cellar is underground and constantly at natural low temperature, the ideal environment for proper storage. The production structure, the reception room and offices are immersed in the greenery and surrounded by the hilly vineyards of Prosecco, witnesses of the tradition and the history of the company, that has always been devoted to viticulture.

In the early twentieth century, Agostino Merotto was already known for his Prosecco, but the most relevant company developments took place in the second half of the latest century by the will of his grandson and current owner. In the 80s, effectively, his grandson Graziano took over the family business. He bought the hilly area where a new winery was built equipping it with the best systems for the production of –Valdobbiadene DOCG Prosecco Superiore".
