Steep slopes, bold terraces, a unique set of forms and colors that already in the early sixteenth century inspired the best watercolors artworks by the German painter Albrecht Dürer, an area hard as porphyry that characterizes it, and tied to the vine and wine since ancestral times, as evidenced by the discovery of the “Situla”, a wine pot dating back to the Rhaetian period. This is the Cembra Valley. And exactly in Cembra the Zanotelli Agricultural Society is located.
Winegrowers for generations, stubborn in keeping alive an important production reality even in the toughest conditions, the Zanotelli family firsthand looks after the whole cycle of vine–growing, with the goal of combining the immense heritage of culture and tradition with a necessary and constant innovative contribution.
