Casa Vinicola Melini is located in Gaggiano, 300 km above sea level in the Hills of Chianti Classico along the road that from Poggibonsi leads to Castellina. Melini has a long tradition that goes back to the year of the foundation, 1705, based on the enhancement and characterization of Chianti Classico.
Its story is the story of Chianti and the first efforts to establish it on the international market. Today the Melini company has 524 hectares in the classic area of Chianti, between Siena and Florence, including farms of famous names such as Selvanella, Terrarossa, Granaio. The main winery, for vinification and maturation of Chianti and other great Tuscan wines, is located in Gaggiano. Moreover, there is a winery in San Gimignano, for vinification and fining of Vernaccia.
