It is an estate in the south west area of Montalcino, the place where Sangiovese Grosso vines are grown, from which the famous Brunello is produced.
It stretches for over 23 hectares and in an optimal ampelographic situation:
–for the hilly terrain of Eocene origin,
–for the altitude of 320 meters,
–for th exposure to south–west,
–for the dry, sunny at length, not foggy climate,
–for the clarity of the light.
In the early 70s the place had been abandoned for a long time by the tenant farmers and the land was uncultivated, but even in this state was a beautiful land, in an environmental situation of exceptional charm.
When Gianfranco and Graziella Soldera discovered the appeal of Case Basse, immediately decided to dedicate themselves to the land with the logic of the illuminated farmer to obtain a Brunello of the highest quality.
