A relatively new reality in the wine scenery of Liguria, founded in 2002 thanks to the strong partnership established between Fausto De Andreis and the Crosa family of Vergagni. The company currently owns about 7 hectares of vineyards situated in the best exposures of the hinterland of Albenga and a well–equipped cellar. The production is oriented exclusively on the traditional grape varieties of the West Liguran Coast, vinified with the care needed to preserve the integrity and originality of the varietal character of the grapes from which the wines come.
Pigato, the main grape variety of the area, whose name comes from the small specks that appear on berries when mature, is available in two different types, and finds its highest expression in Spigau Crociata, a wine with the interesting prerogative of a long evolution over time. The range is completed with a small amount of fine Ormeasco, identified as Macajolo.
