In 2005, the Chessa family, authentic interpreter of the tradition and heritage of the Sardinian wine, thanks to the experience gained over the years decided to embark on a new and important challenge. The wine becomes “an expression of a brand”, the story of the patient effort of a company that looks to the future with enthusiasm and determination. Each wine is created to enhance the unmistakable taste of the Usini grapes, absorbing the spirit of this land particularly suited to the cultivation of the vine. Thanks to the meticulous research of quality, of defined and harmonious notes come to life, able to give a unique sensory experience, that only the intense flavors and delicate aromas of the grapes grown in wisdom and loving care are able to infuse.
The varieties grown are typical of the area: Vermentino, Moscato and Cagnulari.
From these grapes our four wines are produced:
Mattariga – Vermentino di Sardegna DOC / 20,000 bottles
Cagnulari – Isola dei Nuraghi IGT / 20,000 bottles
Lugherra – Isola dei Nuraghi IGT (from cagnulari cannonau grape varieties) / 3,000 bottles
Kentles – Wine of overripe Moscato grapes / 2,500 bottles
