The Malaspina winery was founded in 1967, when Consolato Malaspina decided to turn his great interest in the wine world in a real passion, committing his future. Since then, he has devoted himself with perseverance and dedication to the production of wines, with the resources of a deeply suited land.
He has been able to convey to his four daughters Domenica, Caterina, Irene and Patrizia the pleasure of working the land and create wines linked to centuries–old traditions that tell about Calabria.
The company is located at the most extreme tip of Calabria, a proud land, wild and fascinating, that continues to impress with its constant changes. The Calabria region has a thousand faces, whose hills, green in the middle of winter and yellow in summer, go down to the sea for a happy gain in scents and flavors. It is right in this context that the vineyard and the olive grove of the company are located.
