The Rive Col de Fer winery is located in the heart of Caneva in an area rich in history and traditions, devoted to hospitality. In the cellar you can visit, in the company of the owners, the cellar and the vineyards, but also take walks to get to the medieval castle or just visit the surroundings, immersed in the tranquility and beauty of the landscape. Rive Col de Fer was born in the early 1980s, transforming the hills into an immense vineyard with crags, able to fully exploit both a land that has always been known for its winemaking aptitude, and an enchanted place, rich in history and placed in the center of a unique area, immersed in a more than particular microclimate that only a small part of Caneva has, in a sun-kissed foothills. Rive Col de Fer is in fact located in the heart of Caneva in what was probably the Roman Castrum otherwise transformed over time, but of which there are still clear vestiges that today are a historical part of the cellar itself. The cultivation of almost exclusively family vines, a passion that starts from the careful, almost maniacal cultivation of the vine, to then exalt itself in the care of the vineyards, in the careful pruning that leaves only a branch to the plant, in the thinning of the bunches and the harvest exclusively manual.
