Fattoria "Villa Ligi" farm has been producing and vinifying the grapes of the area for over twenty years; heir to a hundred–year–old family tradition, the owner Francesco Tonelli now joined by his son Stefano, has been able to protect and keep alive vines like "Vernaccia di Pergola" now recognized as a clone of Aleatico.
From the vineyards of Azienda Agraria San Cristoforo, 395 m above sea level, in the Montalfoglio hamlet in the municipality of San Lorenzo in Campo, some of the best wines are produced, starting from grapes such as Aleatico, Montepulciano, Sangiovese and Barbera.
Vineyards of white grape cultivars are present in other adjacent municipalities such as the town of Pergola, where the vinification winery is located. In particular, the white grape varieties grown mainly comprise Biancame and Verdicchio, however flanked by black berry cultivars like Aleatico and Sangiovese in the vineyard situated in Grifoleto locality, 350 m above sea level.
In the Montevecchio hamlet at an altitude of 485 m above sea level, vineyards of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Aleatico and Riesling are cultivated.
From the town of Corinaldo, 200 m s.l.m., instead, Montepulciano, Fiano and Chardonnay come, which travelling towards the coast give way to a Verdicchio vineyard situated in the municipality of Castel Colonna, 125 m above sea level.
