The winery is located in the middle of a vast area of 50 hectares, the junction of 5 roads, in Roman times, linking Rome to Spoleto, Perugia, Rimini and Todi. The combination of history and tradition, along with innovation and cutting–edge technology, is the key to the success of our winery. We invest on our passion for wine, on the experience of our skilled workers and on our territory to achieve excellence in our vineyards.
We do not use chemical herbicides and manually select clusters of grapes.
The result is a selection of red wines of quality: Rossobastardo IGT, Benozzo IGT, Montefalco Rosso DOC, Montefalco Rosso Riserva DOC, Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, Semle Sagrantino raisin wine DOCG.
The winery offers with a time–share of Anglo–Saxon title: the personalization of wine labels, the use of the winery facilities and the accommodation in 9 suites reserved exclusively for share owners/members of the Unique Wine Club. The quality is guaranteed by webcams connected 24 hours a day via the Internet.
The underground cellar has a map of 2,500 square meters and is developed over 7 floors. It is equipped with cutting–edge technologies for winemaking: CO2 extractors, extraction and replacement of saturated air in barrel and barriques cellars, double circuit C/F for both fermenters and for the conditioning of the premises of aging and maturation.
The strength of the company is linked to a communication outside the traditional ways of the wine world pointing to young people, to whom it reserves a stage in the “Osterie del Rossobastardo” (Rossobastardo Inns), sold in franchising after being launched with the Rossobastardo Live Fringe Festival inside of the great international festivals such as the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Narni Black Festival, Roman Summer in Rome, the Biennale in Venice, La MaMa Moves Dance Festival in New York ...
