Pedres Winery stems from the vinegrowing and winemaking tradition of the Mancini family, begun at the end of the nineteenth century, and from the perseverance and farsightedness of the youngest of its descendants, Giovanni Mancini, and is situated in Gallura, in one of the most valuable vinegrowing area in Italy, and therefore, in the world.
Here, the natural features of the soil and the mild climate, appear to be exceptionally suitable for the cultivation of vines. The Pedres winery, located in Olbia, began its activity in September 2002, with a production of wines obtained from selected grapes coming exclusively from the Gallura area.
The irrefutable basic idea of the Pedres Winery is that the quality of wine is determined firstly in the vineyard, and the business philosophy, with a sound and careful management, pursues the quest for quality, the commercial seriousness and the proposal to the consumer of wines of guaranteed source.
