The passion for the land, the dedication and the constant search for the best cultivation techniques, as well as the high quality standards for the processing of wine, have helped give birth to the "Il Pollenza" winemaking company, located partly in the town of Tolentino and partly in the town of Pollenza.
The estate is located in the beautiful landscape of the hills of Macerata that Count Brachetti–Peretti purchased more than twenty years ago by the Princes Antici Mattei, with a beautiful building of the sixteenth century designed by Sangallo. It covers over 200 hectares, of which about 60 are devoted to vineyards. The winery, technologically advanced, ensures limited production of wines of great quality and with futuristic tools for storing wine. The tanks, on the advice of the great internationally renowed oenologist, Mr. Giacomo Tachis, are in vitrified cement and metal, distinguished by the names of the family.
