Azienda Agricola Colleluce company, by Franca Malavolta & C. s.a., is a small family company, facing south–east about 500m above sea level and surrounded by woods.
Love for the transformation and upgrading of what the land offers us and living with the oenologist Bruno Iacoponi, make that the holder choose to resign as a postal clerk to devote herself completely to the company. Passion, faith and sacrifice are the driving factors that lead Franca, Bruno and their children, to travel 90Km (the distance between the house and the company) whenever necessary. To treat well the vineyard, to respect the time and natural pace rather than magic in tanks, are the beliefs that they support. The good technician is not the one who manages to get a product that is always the same but the one who can guarantee an excellent quality without distorting what comes from different lands, with various exposures.

They have chosen to produce Vernaccia di Serrapetrona, a unique wine for the peculiarities of the "black Vernaccia" local grape variety and for the way to get it, being made even from raisins.
The low yield of the vineyard caused drastic pruning, the careful selection of the best grapes, healthier for drying and the choice to use only their own grapes, make that production is limited 28/30.000 bottles per year.
The hard work and dedication are at the base of an outstanding sparkling wine, a good niche product that meets a secular tradition, distinguishing itself for its health... not for headaches!!!
