Nine hectares of surface are grown with newly planted vineyards of grapes from vines of: Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Lacrima, Merlot, Maceratino (Greco Maceratese), Pecorino, Incrocio Bruni ’54 (Verdicchio–Sauvignon).
WINERY AND VINEYARDS
In the cellar, located right in the middle of the vineyards, the company produces and bottles DOC wines directly: Colli Maceratesi Bianco and Ribona, Rosso Piceno; IGT Marche Rosato, Bianco, Rosso.
The harvest is done by hand, in perforated boxes, with selection in the field and on the table in the wine cellar. The short path from the vineyard to the winery gives the opportunity to get high quality musts obtained, with regard to white wines and rosé, from the "soft" pressing of grapes with a pneumatic press.
The vinification of "red" wines occurs with whole grapes, de–stemmed. The winery is equipped with automated system for the temperature of the bottles. This allows, especially during fermentation, to preserve the typical aromas of the grapes, with gradually increasing temperatures.
Clarification is made with decanting. All with the wise guidance of an experienced oenologist.
