Montesanto has been for a long time synonymous with quality wines. Its activity started in 1968 when some wine producers in the area felt the need to join.
Today, the participating producers are more than 210 with a vineyard area of about 190 hectares, which extends into the hills of Recanati, Loreto, Potenza Picena, Montelupone, Morrovalle, Civitanova Alta, Macerata, Montecassiano, Treia and Montefano.
Montesanto operates with a simple organizational level: the producer has the task, with the collaboration of our technicians, to follow the vineyard to the harvest stage to get healthy and selected grapes, the fundamental basis for the subsequent processing to wine; a processing done with a modern vinification technique, based on the gentle pressing of the grapes and the use of cold for fermentation control. This process allows to offer a good quality product.
