Mater Domini Estates was founded in 2003 by the synthesis of an entrepreneurial project by Pierandrea Serneraro, oriented to the enhancement of the agricultural and food resources of Salento, in particular wine and oil.
The concept of quality of the company is based on modern methods of agricultural production, with extreme attention to innovation, being aware of its roots.
Quality is not a subjective parameter, but a philosophy of striving for perfection, trying not to miss any detail and working with nature in the production of a single product.
The Salento peninsula, characterized by the influence of the two seas, is an excellent field of application and testing of the concept of terroir, ranging from climate and soil characteristics to those of the grape varieties, and also includes the peculiarities linked to the territory and especially to wine tradition.
