The commitment of the Gallo family in the world of vine and wine began over a century ago and has showed itself in time through the work and the dedication of people such as Basilio, Stelio, Gianfranco and their families.
Since 1978 the company has been run by Gianfranco, who through rigorous and brave vinegrowing choices, combined with a careful oenological interpretation, affirmed a quality style of great personality, which has characterized the Vie di Romans company over the last twenty years.
Important steps of this latest historical path were: in 1978 the first bottling and the first commercial label, in 1982 a cycle of vinegrowing modernization aimed to high quality, in 1992 the commercial launch of the 1990 vitage and, from this date onwards, white wines are always commercialized two years after the harvest.
