The Toros farm is located in Cormons (GO) in the DOC Collio area. It is possible to visit the winery and taste the wines.
The winery is located 15 km from the airport of Ronchi dei Legionari and 3 km from the railway station of Cormons.
At the beginning of the twentieth century the Toros family, after several migrations, took roots in Novali, an area where life and the land were, historically, in perfect harmony, then as now. The Toros family definitely prevailed, but the real specialtization was the work of Mario, the father and teacher of the current owner Franco, who with his large family succeeded in handling the job with seriousness even after the death of Mario, living and working, in his memory, in absolute harmony in the cru where the vineyards, on gentle soils, frame the company. Franco has recently converted the vineyards and has been able to achieve a strong and intelligent modernization of the winery, providing it with functional and modern equipment including, in particular, a system of pressing and thermo–conditioning. He is also trying, with enthusiasm, the experience of oak, for some particularly structured type, both white and red. To place the barrels he wanted to create a different angle, digging deep in the hills of Novali, where temperature inversions are non–existent. The return, of course partial, to the wooden barrels, is nothing more than a historical appeal, quite natural in the Collio area, therefore, to repeat in 2000 what dad Mario already knew how to do well half a century ago.
