The Winery is located in Lucera, in a farming estate of the eighteent century that Alberto Longo has chosen as seat of his company and restructured with the aim of producing wines of quality and of offering a qualified and professional welcome.
Handwritten registers preserved in the company show that once here stood the ancient wine cellar, active from 1906 until the mid–sixties, owned by the Cavalli family, an important family of Lucera. In those that were once used as corn pits, now there are high–tech equipments, able to control and manage every stage of production, from fermentation to bottling. Striking is the barrel room, where controlled light, temperature and humidity, ensure wines optimal conditions for fining.
Outside, the enchanting landscape of the castle of Lucera and the rows of Falanghina, Montepulciano, Bombino Bianco and Nero di Troia, tell with renewed value the story of these extraordinary territories.
An oak of the thirteenth century, cataloged among the centuries–old trees by the WWF, overlooks the winery and the vineyard with its majestic branches.
