Comm. G.B. Burlotto winehouse is still a family–run firm, where all stages of production, from the vineyard, to the winery, to the commercialization (a total production of around 60,000 bottles), are minded by the current owner, Marina Burlotto, great–granddaughter of the Commendatore, flanked by her husband Giuseppe Alessandria (responsible for the winemaking sector) and their son Fabio, who graduated in viticulture and oenology, to whom we owe the introduction of some modern technical solutions, in harmony and combination with the experience of the best tradition.
Aware and proud of a tradition that is so important and deeply rooted in the history of Barolo and of the Langhe wines, even operating in our time, with the knowledge and methodologies permitted by the evolution of agronomic and oenological techniques, we seek to comply as best as we can and to revive the spirit of guidance and the insights that inspired the work of the Commendatore. We offer wines of today which reflect and enhance the peculiarities of the terroir of Verduno, which has always produced wines of great balance and elegance, extremely pleasant to drink young, but capable, especially in the case of Barolo, and the cru Monvigliero in particular, to evolve harmoniously and to give refined nuances.
