A passion, that for wine, that is indissoluble for the Mossio family. So as the bond to land, to labor, and to these vineyards located in enviable and wonderfully scenic locations. The history of this company began with grandfather Francesco and grandmother Francesca and continues with Luigi and Ennio Mossio with their wives, both named Margherita, and then with their children. Today Valerio and Remo, aided by their nephew Michele, are personally committed to the production of Dolcetto d’Alba, Bricco Caramelli and Piano delli Perdoni. Barbera, Nebbiolo and Langhe Rosso, the results of a happy union between Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Mossio, therefore, is the common work of a family that, with different roles, finds all involved towards one single goal: the quality of wine.
From the vineyards owned, mostly planted in good positions, the winery produces its Dolcetto. Quality has been the goal for several years, but it can be said that the Mossio family have reached also goodness, especially by virtue of contained yields and an increased expertise in the process of winemaking.
