Italy
Between Castiglione Falletto and Monforte d’Alba, in the locality of Bussia, the Parusso company is located: 20 hectares of vineyards located in the areas of Bussia, Ornati, Le Coste, Mariondino and Villero. The passion for winemaking covers four generations and the Parusso family pursues the goal of producing great wines of refined elegance and finesse. A further expression of this philosophy is based on the diversification of viticulture in the various vineyards. Here, art and science come together to produce wines of great character in perfect harmony with the expression of the territory. Tiziana and Marco Parusso work on this! Two are the white wines: a Langhe Bianco from sauvignon grapes and a Bricco Rovella from the same grapes but with refinement in barriques. Among the red wines, Dolcetto d’Alba Piani Noce, Barbera Ornati and Langhe Nebbiolo; then Barbera d’Alba Superiore and BAROLO in five different interpretations. A "classic" version, Mariondino is made from Nebbiolo da Barolo grapes from a single vineyard, the Coste–Mosconi from vineyards of Monforte d’Alba and Bussia, an extraordinary interpreter of the great wine of elegance. Finally, Barolo Riserva from the vineyards of Mariondino, which best represents the evolution of a great Barolo.
