The Librandi company is located in Cirò Marina, a small town in the Ionian coast of Calabria, placed near Punta Alice, a promontory south of the Gulf of Taranto. This area is naturally suited for the cultivation of vines, for the natural inclination of the land and its geographical position, a short distance from the sea and with the Sila mountains behind, a situation that guarantees ideal temperature ranges between day and night. The Librandi family has been growing vines for four generations, and from the 50s it began the activity of bottling. The management of the company has always been firmly in the hands of the family, with the technical collaboration of Donato Lanati, professor of enology at the University of Turin and Florence, and of its studio Enosis Meraviglia.
