A bit of our history
The awareness of the treasure made of the wisdom we have received by two generations, made of tough sacrifices, tireless arms and firm values, unfortunately has to face the bitter experience to see everything we do ignored and sometimes trampled by people animated only by the lucrative concept of industrialization. From the union of mixed emotions, very strong, the desire to make know a more natural, more authentic face of our work, which is fulfilled with Azienda Agricola La Vinarte. Its roots lie in the period after the first world war, when the desire for rebirth was strong in every heart, even in that of grandfather Vito and grandmother Sabia, who planted the first vines, perhaps unaware of starting a story that has been going on for 70 years. In effect, the passion was picked up by father Filippo and mother Filomena, who founded the modern farm to which they have been devoting lovingly, year after year, making significant improvements in quality, planting vineyards in different zones of the Frentana area, emphasizing the different terroirs in the grapes. Those great emotions have been transmitted, involving us in various business activities in our childhood, to us children: Vito, Luciano and Domenico. Today we deal personally, with every single activity within the company, taking advantage of a good technical and scientific preparation, of course taking into account the valuable advice of the more than forty years of experience of our parents, who still give their daily contribution. Our challenge is to give the right value to the generosity of the product that the earth has to offer.
La Vinarte, because ...
We are both farmers and a little bit craftsmen. Cultivating vines and making wine are not considered just as a job, but more than anything else a Passion that involves us inspiring new ideas, always giving us great emotions. Being able to collect every feeling and place them in a simple bottle is possible only thanks to the uniqueness of this nectar.
We do not want just to produce wine, but to share these emotions.
