Borgo Santo Spirito (BSS) is a farmhouse inn, a restaurant, a vineyard, is altogether an idea and has been thought and strongly wanted by love for a land that transmits the great strength of nature. Borgo Santo Spirito is located 700 meters above sea level, inside the Park of Etna, in the Santo Spirito area in Passopisciaro, a hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia, and covers an area of over 10 hectares, 8 cultivated with vines, from which the flagship wine of BSS is made: ARMAGIA, Etna Rosso DOC. Armagia is an Etna Rosso DOC obtained from the vinification of 80% Nerello Mascalese grapes and 20% Nerello Cappuccio. The grapes come from a volcanic soil rich in stones, which often are collected in real pyramids, called in the local language "Armagia", precisely.
