Bruno Gottardi and his son Alexander are not only winemakers, but can also count on the Innsbruck seat, looking back in time, to more or less 110 years of experience in the commerce of wine.
The range of the offer of the Innsbruck shop, which provides from retail to gastronomy, goes from wines of quality and a good value for money to exclusive wines of high class cultivations.
In 1986 the Gottardi family purchased vineyards in the paradisiac hills of Mazzon in South Tyrol, and returned to their homeland with this venture.
The Gottardi family has always had a very close relationship with South Tyrol, also through the Italian–German border (their ancestors had to leave the field in the 19th century, due to diseases of the vines that had come from America).
But much more unites them to South Tyrol, such as the breathtaking nature, beautiful valleys with green and juicy vineyards, but mainly out of the ordinary wines, which have always found here their origin.
In 1995 the first vintage of Burgunder saw the sunlight and was immediately crowned as the best Blauburgunder in South Tyrol. And that is just the beginning of a great successful story of wines vinified in Mazzon, that collect today all over the world a lot of interest, and even in the Big Apple New York they give enthusiasm to many fans.
