The impressive artifact at the beginning of the Wine Route is a landmark, a witness to the livley history of Cantina Vinicola San Michele Appiano. Built in 1909, the central body in Art Nouveau style is still today expression and pride of the farmers of Appiano who wanted to give their wine a suitable framework. The next extension of the original building symbolizes the orientation to the future: its simple style and its clean lines are an expression of the determination of the open mind of the Oltradige winegrowers.
