In the Avellino area, 400 meters of altitude, the old town of Taurasi is located, where everything seems to be charm and history. The Antico Borgo wine company arises here, from the passion of two pioneers of the wine history of Taurasi: the oenologist Raffaele Inglese, great Conservative, supporter of the peculiarities of each individual vine variety – all his works clearly bear this signature – and Baldo di Sessa, an expert vinegrower who, as a Father, lovingly and patiently brings to maturation his Sons vineyards. In full respect of the traditional processing techniques, the company makes all its processing in Taurasi, in the old town, instead, and hence the company’s name, has caves of thousands of years for fining.
