Our history is that of a family firmly tied to wine, grapes, to the hills, where our grandparents have worked hard and for a long time, as well as our father in his first youth.
After twenty years, Agostino decided to follow his particular aptitude for applied mechanics to the oenology industry. Despite the business, our family has never stopped cultivating its own vineyard in Calamandrana Alta.
Since 2000, we decided to go back to our roots and now we work full–time to the cultivation of the vine and the production of quality wines.
The company enjoys an exceptional location on the hill of Bricco di Nizza Monferrato, who won our hearts, a few km from the hill of origin of our family.
We have gradually expanded our property while maintaining the old vineyards and planting new ones. The commitment was continuous and since then the production was increased and our wines are more and more popular both in domestic and international markets.
The cultivation of the vines is done with the utmost respect for the environment: we use only products made from copper and sulfur, the soil is worked, we do not use herbicides nor systemic products and a careful attention is reserved to grassing.
Thanks to the attention towards the management of environmental resources, our company has achieved the ISO14001 certification. The yield per hectare is low and ideal to obtain a quality product, of course, focused and balanced.
The harvest, as well as almost all actions in the vineyard, is made by hand and grapes, collected in boxes, are immediately carried to the wine cellar where, after a further selection on a tour of sorting, is vinified.
The winemaking techniques are traditional, with minimal interference of technology, with the intent to maintain and never upset the best that the vineyard offers us each year.
Our intention is to produce the best, in the simplest and most natural way possible, our wine, to be always the real expression of our territory: Nizza, the heart of Piedmont!
