The Les Crêtes company of the Charrère family manages in Aymavilles (Valle d’Aosta) 20 hectares of vineyards that are located in a mountain area: sandy moraine soils, steep slopes, high density planting (8/10,000 feet/ha).
The annual production is of 210,000 bottles, ranging from local grape varieties (Petit Rouge, Fumin, Petite Arvine, Mayolet, Premetta) to international ones (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah).
The most extensive plot of vineyards is spread in the area of Les Crêtes of Aymavilles, where the scenic hillside of Côteau La Tour offers its medieval tower, now the symbol of the company.
The wines of Les Cretes are fresh, mineral, elegant, and fully express the mountain territory. The wine cellar is at 1 km from the west Aosta exit on the Highway T1, has a tasting room and an ample parking. Tastings and tours by appointment.
