In the farming company of the Cimarelli family of winemakers is located in the Municipality of Staffolo in the province of Ancona (Marche) in the south of the area of production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico. The name of Classico is reserved to a smaller area and of more ancient tradition of cultivation of Verdicchio vine. It spreads over 10 hectares of specialized vineyards.
It is localized to one side in the immediate vicinity of the town about 380/400 meters above sea level where the vineyards are mainly used to produce the "fra moriale" selection; the remainder in "coste" locality from which the grapes for the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi "Classico" and those of Montepulciano and Sangiovese intended for "Grizio" come. The work of the company is very careful in the vineyard, is of careful selection in the harvest, is very careful in winemaking, to enhance the virtues of the local varieties of grapes grown by them in this historic area.
