Our small company is located on the beautiful hills of Gambellara, 300 meters above sea level, on deep soils of volcanic origin, rich in lavas and tuff stones. Our vineyards have up to 40 years of age and are bred to produce a little, trying to obtain always the very best from the extraordinary Garganega grape that is used only in single variety.

Our wines speak of all this and of the infinite passion for our work, which fills our soul and all the time in our disposition. The project goes beyond the budgets, beyond the calculations, just a continuous chase of a beautiful dream.

Azienda Agricola Marcato

In the tuff and basaltic hills of the wide basin of the Alpone Valley, near the center of which the modern wine cellar stands, with an area of ​​7,000 square meters devoted to the various departments of drying, fermentation, aging and sparkling making, up to bottling and storage.



The company works every year about 6,000 tons of grapes, obtained from approximately 60 hectares of vineyards owned and 25 hectares of well–selected local farmers who work in close relationship with the Marcato.



The wisdom of the land and passion: these are the cornerstones of the production of Marcato wines, a family–run company, attentive to innovation, projected into the future with the enthusiasm and determination of the new generations.



Each wine of the Marcato has its own soul and its own history, written by the harmony between each grape variety and the characteristics of the area where the vineyard is cultivated, and by the particular harmony between the vine and the ground, occurred over the centuries, refined with experience and technique.

Zanoni Pietro

The Zanoni family has been growing vines and producing wine in Valpolicella since the beginning of the century. Pietro gave continuity to this tradition starting in 1998 to bottle the wines made exclusively from grapes grown in the estate. The company covers approximately 10 ha: 1 ha with olive trees, from which you get an excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil and 6.5 ha of vineyards, all in the Valpolicella D.O.C. area. The vineyards are divided into 3 fields located in the hills north of Verona in the villages of Avesa, Parona and Quinzano. This latter, located in Zovo locality, is the plot of greater dimensions and value, where recently the new corporate seat has been completed.

Terre di Pietra

My adventure starts here in Torbe di Negrar. On the high hills on the border between the Valpolicella Classica and the Regional Park of Lessinia.



A land that has always been dedicated to agriculture and to the excavation of the Prun Stone or Lessinia Stone.



"Terre di Pietra" owes its name to the soil of limestone/marl characterized by the formation of layers of solid stone.



Our label, made ​​up of many colored stripes, is meant to represent the different layers of rock that make up our subsoil. In addition, since the miners gave to each course (layer) a name depending on the location or the prevalent use or pigmentation, our wines take up these names. So, they are called: Stopegna, Stelar, Mesal, Rosson and Rabiosa.



You will not find technology in my winery. Only much craftsmanship, I prefer to give space to the hands and instinct than to modernity.

In the drying of grapes I do not use dehumidifiers nor fans, everything happens in a natural way by opening or closing the various openings. I do not hurry up and leave grapes its necessary time.

In winemaking I do not use fermentation tanks nor other types of automated tanks. Pumping over, wine–crushing and all other necessary operations are carried out by hand, depending on how I feel and I see wine.

The result are wines without compromise, very much related to territoriality and seasonality of every single harvest. From the strong acidity and freshness of those produced with the grapes of the hilly area of Torbe, to the softer and more structured ones produced on the fertile grounds of Marcellise.

Azienda Agricola Vicentini Agostino

The pomegranate, an ancient symbol of fruitfulness and numerous descendants, was chosen as a mark and offered as a pledge of vitality and enthusiasm. In the beautiful valley of cherry trees, in a still intact and bound to tradition environment, the company conducts its activities. If the image of the pomegranate is a propitious symbol, this demonstrates the success achieved achieved by the company in a short time, getting good production and quality levels.



Agostino Vicentini has inherited from his father Francesco 14 hectares of vineyards, as well as passion, love for the land, the secrets of the craft and the experience gained in the 40 years of his activities. To this, Agostino added the desire to reach new goals, trying to get the best from a nature that is already very generous.

I, one of the many "Antonio", was the first in a family of farmers from the Veneto region who could study and, of course, it was already decided by birth, I devoted myself to the study of wine. Immediately, I felt the desire to create, to experience, to bring the scientific method and innovation, but also to search for the most authentic and original traditions. I wanted more attractive, less stale and more vibrant wines, I wanted together sweetness of flavors and volume.



The findings are the result of a process that over time has made me visit places, meet people and try techniques, tools and methods. New vineyards or recovery of some very old ones, containers made ​​of concrete, wood or steel, fermentation at more and more low temperatures, searching the limit.



Now we have vineyards located between 150 and 450 m. For each altitude, different grape varieties for different wines, processed and packed in a winery where systems and non–invasive methods have allowed us to eliminate almost completely the use of chemistry. And we can do more.



The world of wine is made ​​of seasons, situations and conditions that are never equal. Experience is never enough. It is important to try and try, with tenacity, humility and a bit of patience.

Azienda Agricola Righetti Enzo

The Righetti family has been devoted to agriculture for generations. Grandfather Augusto and father Enzo have been able to hand down to Franco, Flavio and Roberto the love for the land and the passion for the cultivation of the vine.
The family business covers approximately 9 hectares in the municipality of Cavaion Veronese (VR), a charming village located in the hinterland of Lake Garda, in the heart of the production area of the Bardolino Classico.
Our calcareous clayey soils are of glacial origin and transmit the grapes organoleptic characteristics of rare quality. In the company, only owned grapes are vinified, all harvested by hand.
Vinifications are carried out using modern techniques, trying to preserve the flavors and aromas of the wines of the past, providing a unique typicality.

In the heart of the historic Valpolicella, the "Le Marognole" winery was founded in 2004. With 6 hectares of property, we produce wines directly from our grapes and dedicate ourselves with passion to the entire production process, to sale, to the promotion of our wines through tastings in the company for all our visitors.

The Strength of an idea

Azienda Fongaro was founded in 1975 by the commitment and passion of its founder, Guerrino Fongaro.

From the beginning, the choice has been to give priority to the cultivation of the Durella native grape variety, typical of the area of the Lessini Mountains, in the hills between the provinces of Verona and the one of Vicenza, characterized by high natural acidity that is perfectly suited to the processing with the Traditional Classic Method.



Unique by Nature

The peculiarity and refined features of the Fongaro sparkling wines are fruit of the indissoluble pair "vine–land": the Winery, in effect, stands on volcanic soils that give to Durella grapes strong mineral properties valued then by the long process of fermentation in the bottle, known as the Traditional Classic Method.
