Azienda Agricola Gumphof Markus Prackwieser

The winery Gumphof is nestled in the steep slopes at the entry of the Isarco Valley and its vineyards stretch.
At an age of 28, Markus Prackwieser started a quiet transformation and has produced his own wine since. His wines have been sought after both nationally and internationally, especially his outstanding Praesulis Selection wine range. The name Praesulis derives from the nearby Castle of Presule.

Cantina Cortaccia Soc. Agr. Coop.

The “Cru” system of classifying vineyards was introduced in Bordeaux in 1855. Although at Kurtatsch there is no official classification, growers draw on centuries of experience to match each grape variety with its ideal site. Many sites are so steep that tractors could never be used and can only be worked laboriously by hand. The south of South Tyrol regularly experiences an Indian Summer with warm autumn days alternating with chilly nights, enabling growers to draw out the grape “hang time” to the point where optimum ripeness coincides with excellent acidity levels. The winemaker can avail himself of state-of-the-art technology, refrigeration equipment, stainless steel tanks for temperature-controlled fermentation, new oak barriques and traditional oak casks. Only perfectly healthy grapes find their way into the press. Before bottling all wines are scrutinised by expert tasters and are released for sale at optimum maturity.

Cantina Produttori Cornaiano

The Cantina Girlan was founded in 1923 by 23 vintners congregating at this historic country estate (dating back to the 16th century) in the village of Girlan in the region of Alto Adige. Back then – 90 years ago – the 23 charter members had an annual production of a mere 2,700 hectoliters of wine.

The Cantina Girlan now has 200 wine-grower members, for a total area of 220 hectares of vineyards in the best growing zones of the Oltradige and Bassa Atesina.

Distilleria Villa Laviosa

Villa Laviosa is a small craft company in Alto Adige and produces grappa, spirits, liqueurs and some food and wine specialties in jars (acacia honey and mountain pine, hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds preserved in honey, berries, raspberries, blueberries and other fruits under spirit). Our products are sold exclusively in food stores, in hotels, restaurants and wine bars.

Our family has been involved in viticulture for many generations and each has achieved success by focusing on innovation. Today we are convinced that the future of viticulture focuses on the ecological care of our vineyards without use of
chemicals during the season.

The result of this attention is realized in the production of exceptional wines without the use of chemicals, with the exception of sulfur used in the cellar.

Taschlerhof - Peter Wachtler

As well demonstrated, thewhite wines of the Taschlerhof wine farm are characterized by persistent flavor, fruity bouquet with the addition of a slight aroma of exotic fruits... unmistakable.




Peter Wachtler, young wine grower and member of the South Tyrol Winegrowers, has that bit of fancy that makes his wines small rarities due to his particular way of cultivating his vineyards and a right amount of passion.



The strict limitation to 4 vines and the restricted amount of bottles produced ensure the permanent control of quality and the production of a truly fine wine.
