The only wine produced by this company, the Caberlot, is the fruit of the ambitious vision of Wolf Rogosky who, after long years of waiting, managed to plant, in 1986, a few rows of Cabernet, of which he had understood the potential. His passion was soon accompanied by excellent results. After his death in 1996, the burden and the honor of carrying forward the nascent project passed to his wife Bettina, his son Philip and his girlfriend, Sarah.
The company was founded in the nineteenth century, but only in the early nineties the production was set according to rules of absolute quality. During the past years, many were the test vinifications made mainly on a grape variety at risk to disappear.
Cantine Marchesi Fumanelli is a family-owned winery that has been producing high-quality wines for over 240 years. Using traditional methods and modern technology, they carefully cultivate their vineyards to produce some of the finest grapes in the region.
