Di Majo Norante has been producing wine from its own grapes since the nineteenth century, as evidenced by the old wineries under the square and in the old family mansion in Campomarino. The dedication to the cultivation of the vine was first inherited by Luigi and then by Alessio Di Majo and is practiced today with the passion for research and experimentation.
Di Majo Norante produces its own wines exclusively from the 85 hectares of the ancient feud of the Norante Marquises of Santa Cristina. The modern winery will be soon joined by a barrel cellar obtained from a stone barn of the seventeenth century. This is because the winemaking philosophy of Majo Norante respects the traditional approach to grape growing and wine production, in an attempt to retain all the characteristics of the grape blends of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Catabbo company was born in 1990, when Vincenzo Catabbo succeeds in realizing his dream of dedicating himself to viticulture and the production of wine. In this way, with passion and innovated knowledge he starts planting vines, all in rigorous rows. In the year 2004, thanks to the predisposition of his three children, Sara, Carla and Pasquale, he decides to make a change in his company by creating a modern cellar for the wine making of his own grapes.
Valtappino Winery was founded in 1969 thanks to the will of 274 winegrowers in the area. The company’s philosophy today is based on the research of the quality of the products; to achieve this goal, great attention is given to the modernization of production facilities. Valtappino deals entirely of all production processes, from the vineyard to the winery, to final bottling.
The farm Terresacre is located in the beautiful country of Montenero di Bisaccia, where the hills are gently stroked by the breeze of the Adriatic sea. Molise's winr making tradition lives of devotion, patience and a deep knowledge of all secrets of grapevine and olive tree, which are the basis of Terre Sacre's work. Montepulciano, Trebbiano, Merlot e Sangiovese grapes, grow in more than 25 hectares of the farm's land. In other 25 hectares, olive trees let their fruits ripen, in a privileged position that receives the beneficial influence of the sea climate. Terresacre blends the experience of Molise's wine-making and oil-making tradition, with passion, and the will to obtain high quality products. The Cantine D'Uva wine estate, founded in the 1940s, is located on the gentle slopes of the lower section of the Molise region, which was created in 1963 by its separation from the Abruzzi region.
The property is situated in Larino, at an average altitude of 820 feet, where the composition of the soil is highly suited to the cultivation of vines. The D'Uva family has resided in this area for more than 60 years.
Angelo D'Uva, who currently operates the estate, and oversees the production of the wines with great competence, represents the third generation of the family to engage professionally in winemaking.
The Salvatore winery is located in the luxuriant hills of Molise region and specifically in the small town of Ururi. The Winery originated from the strong will of Pasquale Salvatore, to increase the value of his own estates and products following the tracks of his father Donato and employing the experience of his ancestors. It consists of about 15 hectares of vineyards besides olive groves, fruit groves and various sowable lands.
