Azienda Vinicola Serenelli Alberto

Alberto Serenelli is the continuer of a family tradition started in 1920 by grandfather Alberto, who started making wine from the Montepulciano grapes produced on the hill of Varano, which in 1967 was recognized as an area in the center of the DOC area of the Rosso Cònero wine. Alberto, in the 50s, was replaced by his son Cesare, who created the current winery in 1957, the year in which Alberto jr was born. From the vintage 1978, the first Rosso Cònero labeled "Serenelli" comes.



The 2000 harvest marked the start of the creation of new vineyards on the Boranico estate in Varano. Experience, passion, enthusiasm animate the will of Alberto in producing wines of character and personality, which result enjoyable and capable of arousing emotions. To celebrate the DOCG Cònero, established with the 2004 vintage, Alberto dedicated to father Cesare and to himself, the "Cesare Alberto" wine label. More character and structure of a selection of Montepulciano grapes in single variety, for a unique pleasure.

Azienda Agricola Moroder Alessandro

Moroder company is located in Montacuto, a small fraction of Ancona in the heart of the Natural Park of Monte Conero. In this hilly area the 44 hectares of the farm stretch, of which 26 are vineyards, all grown organically.

Owned by the Moroder family since the end of the 18th century, with the commitment of Alessandro, Serenella and her son Marco, the company has taken a wine making approach with high quality products that enhance the vocation for the cultivation of Montepulciano in this area. The "crù" wine is DORICO, that got the highest awards in different vintages by the guides (Veronelli, Gambero Rosso, A.I.S., Slow Wine, L’Epresso guide, Vini Buoni d’Italia, Go Wine).

Tenuta Dell'Ugolino di Petrini & Foroni S.s.

Tenuta dell’Ugolino is located in Castelplanio, in the Marche region: one of the most suited to the production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi municipalities.

The Designation of Controlled Origin of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi (map of Verdicchio) is, in effect, reserved exclusively to the wine produced in the most ancient original area that extends from the municipalities located along the banks of the river Esino to the hill towns overlooking the valleys of Misa and Nevola.

The Tenuta dell’Ugolino company, owned by the Petrini family, was founded in 1980 as a traditional farm, typical of the Marche, but over time, winemaking has become the main activity thanks to the passion of young Andrea for his land and the wines that are produced there.

The production aspect, of the 4 hectares of vineyards in total, points to a production of quality wines through the maniacal care of the vineyards and their constant monitoring and attention to the vinification of the grapes in the company’s cellar with the traditional method.

The results of this effort are two wines of exceptional personality and character: Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico DOC and Verdicchio Classico Superiore DOC Vigneto del Balluccio.

Tenuta dell’Ugolino is open all year round for tours, tastings and welcoming of groups by appointment.

Azienda Vinicola Cimarelli Luca

In the farming company of the Cimarelli family of winemakers is located in the Municipality of Staffolo in the province of Ancona (Marche) in the south of the area of ​​production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC Classico. The name of Classico is reserved to a smaller area and of more ancient tradition of cultivation of Verdicchio vine. It spreads over 10 hectares of specialized vineyards.

Società Agricola Zannotti Claudio & Ferdinando s.s. develops on a hill of San Paolo di Jesi, in one of the most favorable areas to the production of DOC Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. The soil is clayey and sandy and the climate is cool, characterized by temperature ranges between day and night that are fundamental to the production of grapes of high aroma.

The Zannotti company has dedicated itself for generations to the production of wine; in effect, it was founded in 1958 as a small country business, today is a benchmark in the areas of the Marche hinterland and its business is booming. It is currently managed by Claudio and Ferdinando Zannotti, sons of the founder Armando Zannotti, a family structure based on respect for tradition, but with the mind focused on development and continuous improvement.

Significant, by the way, are the awards that the company has received in recent years, both by the public and the critics of the industry, won thanks to forthright and incisive products, marked by an excellent quality/price ratio.

Azienda Vinicola Venturi di Filiberto Venturi

The wine culture has always been part of our family, and so in the mid–70s, the winery was founded, by Mr. Filiberto Venturi, based in the heart of the best area of production of wines of the Marche region.



An soft overlap of hills and landscapes, where the memory and the palate are house of ancient pleasures and traditions, which are not cancelled with time, but reinforce themselves.



In this land the ancient Galli Senones founded the town of Castelleone of Suasa, where the cultures related to wine and history blend and take shape.



A history on which Mr. Filiberto has founded almost all his life; since he was young, he has always dedicated himself with passion and perseverance to the work the vineyard producing wine only for himself and for a small number of people and friends.



Now this passion has flown in a small company that is located right in Castelleone, founded for his will around 10 years ago.



And since then, the desire and tenacity of his child Roberto was added, who fully supported his father’s work; wine has always passed nearby him since he was a child, then at the end of the studies it was as if he had drawn him and invited to take a journey into this wonderful Wine world.



The company aims to produce a limited quantity of bottles of Verdicchio and Sangiovese, with unique characteristics to the body, elegance and fragrance. The vineyards, extremely healthy, are subdued to double thinning of bunches and the so obtained grapes are subsequently selected in the wine cellar, where they are processed according to the old tradition.



With such favorable climate and soil, there is only one thing of fundamental importance for the success of our productions: "passion".



From the outset we have pursued the objective of high quality. Careful selection of the grapes on the vine, reduced yields per hectare, continuous experimentation in the vineyard and in the cellar, severe controls in the laboratory; This, and more, to make unique style of our wines.

Azienda Vinicola Sparapani Frati Bianchi

Azienda Vinicola Sparapani company was founded in Cupramontana, the noble and ancient home of Verdicchio, near the old hermitage of white friars.
Here in a small winery the winemaking traditions are handed down. This latest generation formed by the paternal wisdom and the enthusiasm of three children, they decided to promote these traditions and grow this little reality of winemakers.

The company was founded in 1985 and from the beginning has aimed to focus on the quality of its products, through the selection and the updating of the the techniques in the field and the wine cellar. All this is favoured by the microclimate, the altitude, the terrain and especially by the 12 hectares of "Verdicchio" vine that allow to produce wines of great value.

Cantine Enzo Mecella

The Marche region, both for its climate and for the composition of the soil, is particularly suited for the cultivation of vineyards of quality.
In this geographical situation the activity of Enzo Mecella is located, the owner of the winery founded by his father Marsilio more than 50 years ago. A graduate of the School of Enology in Conegliano Veneto, in 1977 he took the total responsibility of the paternal activity and implemented a revolution in business. The pleasure to offer top–quality products has given preference to select and present quality, rejecting most profitable business lines.
Over the years it has developed a close relationship of cooperation with its suppliers of grapes, intervening directly in the development and management of the vineyards. Its focus is mainly on production of wines from ancient native vines, among which a Ciliegiolo, with which a red wine is produced. The predominant production is Verdicchio di Matelica D.O.C., with various selections including one in "barrique". It was the first to introduce the use of the "barrique" in the Marche region, and therefore, now has a production of Rosso Conero aged in small barrels that has received much acclaim, even in European competitions.
