Boris Skerk, together with his family, in the ancient understanding between man and nature, devote himself, with a deep sense of belonging to the territory, to the cultivation of high–density vines and, taking the cue from the ancient viticulture techniques, focus on the cultivation of those native varieties, such as Terrano, Vitovska and Malvasia, which through the centuries have proven to be able to ensure the best results in that land and climate.

Surrounded by vineyards and by the typical karst vegetation, the Zidarich company, located in the heart of the Karst of Trieste and founded in 1988, enjoys a beautiful and unique location. It is right in this land that Benjamin Zidarich, with a strong spirit of innovation, new ideas, strategies and determination, revolutionized the company of his father, expanding the half a hectare of vineyards of the period, giving priority to the indigenous varieties of the territory.

Right from the beginning, the new enterprise was presented as a challenge, on an area characterized by rocks and by a few red soil, that required an ongoing commitment and a great use of resources. Since then, year after year, new vineyards have been planted, the surface grown with vines was increased to 8 hectares, and the production has reached 20,000 bottles. More and more Zidarich wines are appreciated nationally and internationally.
