Recently restored, the impressive wine cellar dating back to the sixteenth century, is certainly one of the oldest of San Floriano, having miraculously escaped the devastations of the world wars. With exposed stone walls and vaulted ceilings, we welcome guests and friends for tastings, among the barrels in which red wines age and mature.
Harmoniously linked to this, the modern one, technologically advanced, run by Giovanni and, occasionally, by an oenologist of confidence. Equipped with thermo–controlled stainless steel tanks, it also has oak barrels for the fining of some wines.
The production, of more than 90,000 bottles, combines tradition with innovation. The native Malvasia, Ribolla and Tocai Friulano, plus the sweet Picolit, join the French vines imported in late–nineteenth century: Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Chardonnay as white ones, and Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, of red berry.
La Castellada Di Bensa Giorgio E Nicolo Societa Agricola is a winery that specializes in producing high-quality wines using traditional methods. The Grandis’ciutta company is family–run. Our choice is to produce wines of the hills with great balance and elegance. Wines that, to be so, must reflect truthfully the territory they come from, be faithful transpositions of Nature.
Today we produce nine wines, some in single–variety, others obtained by accurate blends of grapes and wines of our own production, selected already in the vineyards. In single–variety we offer five wines: Pinot Grigio, Friulian Tocai, Sauvignon, Chardonnay e Ribolla Gialla. We also make two white grape variety wines: the white IGT Bratinis and Collio Bianco Tzz Reserve. Two wines that are quite different for their varieties of grapes and for wine–making techniques. The two red wines of the company are: Grandis’ciutta Cabernet Franc and Collio Rosso of Princic.

The Marco Felluga company was founded with its name by Marco in the 50s, in Gradisca d’Isonzo, acharacteristic fortified fifteenth–century citadel wanted by the Serenissima Republic of Venice, once surrounded by walls drawn by Leonardo da Vinci, who open their doors to the Collio of Gorizia. The vineyards cover 100 hectares (owned and run) with a production mostly of white wines, produced from both native and international grapes. The same care put in the selection and cultivation of vines continues in the vinification phase, during which ancient wisdom and modern techniques unite and blend. Each wine has its own time and its own place of fermentation and maturation.
By virtue of its centuries old experience, Attems has chosen to invest in the future, both in the vineyard and in the winery.
After the modernizing of production facilities, the number of hectares grown with vines was increased. In addition, a new vinification and conservation plant was built, specially designed to enhance the characteristics that the territory gives to its fruits.
The winemaking process begins with the harvesting of the grapes for separate parcels. To follow, the steps of pressing and maceration take place, using techniques that limit the contact with oxygen, in order to preserve to the maximum the aromatic properties of each variety. Fermentation is managed at a controlled temperature with different times depending on the vines, allows to reach the right level of complexity. Each stage of the production process is personally followed by the technical director Gianni Napoletano, who since the spring of 2001 has been leading the company from success to success.
Attems reaps the rewards of a priceless combination of factors: an ancient family tradition, an ideal area for the production of great white wines and advanced technology. Jermann is the story of a passion that comes from far away.
Anton Jermann, the founder, leaves the Austrian wine region of Burgenland, and then the vineyards in Slovenia, to put down roots in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is 1881. Here he continues its activities in wine, which Silvio Jermann, thanks to its genious and fantasy, from the seventies gives a turning point, bringing the company at the top in Italy and then in the world of winemaking.
Today, the property of Jermann extends over 150 hectares, of which 130 hectares of vineyards and 20 hectares of arable and horticultural crops.
A company that communicates daily with the world, but the attention is always to the concrete things that make a great wine.
Love for the land, in effect, is the cornerstone of this farm, the great gem of the Collio area, renowned for its exceptional white wines but also for its robust and of tradition red wines.
The Mario Schioppetto Farm is one of the historical companies of Collio. On the hills of Capriva del Friuli, Mario Schiopetto has been producing wines since 1965. Nowadays, the children Maria Angela, Carlo and Giorgio continue the family tradition, each of them covering in the company the role most suited to their abilities, with the goal of creating a common wine of quality.
The wines produced by the company, in effect, must express in the best way the area in which they are produced, but always maintaining a very strong personality and reflecting the characteristics of the company: refinement, elegance and respect for tradition.
Lis Neris Wines is a family-owned winery that specializes in crafting high-quality, elegant wines. They have a strong commitment to sustainable viticulture practices and strive to capture the unique characteristics of each grape variety in their bottles. Their vineyards are carefully tended and hand-harvested to ensure optimal ripeness and flavor development. Lis Neris Wines offers a range of varietals, including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, and Merlot, among others. Their wines are known for their complexity, balance, and crisp acidity.
The commitment of the Gallo family in the world of vine and wine began over a century ago and has showed itself in time through the work and the dedication of people such as Basilio, Stelio, Gianfranco and their families.
Since 1978 the company has been run by Gianfranco, who through rigorous and brave vinegrowing choices, combined with a careful oenological interpretation, affirmed a quality style of great personality, which has characterized the Vie di Romans company over the last twenty years.
Important steps of this latest historical path were: in 1978 the first bottling and the first commercial label, in 1982 a cycle of vinegrowing modernization aimed to high quality, in 1992 the commercial launch of the 1990 vitage and, from this date onwards, white wines are always commercialized two years after the harvest.
A long family passion, begun more than 80 years ago, when Francesco Luisa, widow of only 37 years with 6 children to raise, had the foresight and the forwardness to purchase 5 hectares of land.
From here the saga of the Luisa di Corona family began, that continued with Delciso, who succeeded his father Francesco, and most of all with Eddi, who as he was only 13 joined the company at the side of his father with determination.
When you ask Eddi what is the secret of his success, he answers smiling:“I have worked with no interruption, without looking at the clock, with passion and love for my job”.
Still today, Eddi works together with his sons Michele, oenologist, and Davide, agriculture expert. A comparision of two generations that unite with wisdom tradition and constant research in innovation, in respect of raw material and territory.
It is exactly the union of the family and this whirlwind of enthusiasm, courage, foresight, which brought the Luisa Estate to grow steadily over the years, now reaching 75 hectares of cultivated land and more than 350,000 bottles of production, exported all over the world. Even today, Eddi works alongside his sons Michele, oenologist, and Davide, agriculture expert.
The Toros farm is located in Cormons (GO) in the DOC Collio area. It is possible to visit the winery and taste the wines.
The winery is located 15 km from the airport of Ronchi dei Legionari and 3 km from the railway station of Cormons.
At the beginning of the twentieth century the Toros family, after several migrations, took roots in Novali, an area where life and the land were, historically, in perfect harmony, then as now. The Toros family definitely prevailed, but the real specialtization was the work of Mario, the father and teacher of the current owner Franco, who with his large family succeeded in handling the job with seriousness even after the death of Mario, living and working, in his memory, in absolute harmony in the cru where the vineyards, on gentle soils, frame the company. Franco has recently converted the vineyards and has been able to achieve a strong and intelligent modernization of the winery, providing it with functional and modern equipment including, in particular, a system of pressing and thermo–conditioning. He is also trying, with enthusiasm, the experience of oak, for some particularly structured type, both white and red. To place the barrels he wanted to create a different angle, digging deep in the hills of Novali, where temperature inversions are non–existent. The return, of course partial, to the wooden barrels, is nothing more than a historical appeal, quite natural in the Collio area, therefore, to repeat in 2000 what dad Mario already knew how to do well half a century ago.
