The Giavi farm is named after Francesco Giavi, who at the beginning of the twentieth century bought from the Tezza family the valuable estate near Conegliano located on the South–West end of the Monticella hill that dominates and overlooks the town in itself. On old toponyms, the locality is named Monticella–Tezza, precisely after the family who owned it in the early nineteenth century and who gave to the town of Conegliano Blessed Luigi Tezza, born in the forefathers’ house still on top of the hill.
The estate has always been characterized by an almost entirely oriented winemaking vocation, overlooking the town of Conegliano, and it is thought that CIMA painted some of his Madonnas and the Conegliano landscape from the hills exactly from the Monticella hill, from a hillock which currently enjoys the sun, that lights all day a plantation of Prosecco grapes.
Considerable impetus has been given to the activities with the replanting, in recent years, of Prosecco and Rosso dei Colli di Conegliano vines, and everything is registered in the respective doc regulations and the estate is a member of the consortium of Prosecco Conegliano–Valdobbiadene.
Within the company, you will find the old renovated wine cellar where besides tasting products, cultural events and conferences are held.

This is the remembrance that grandfather Amadio leaves to his son Pietro. To hand down his wine culture was not his only and main goal. First of all, the important thing was to give value to the family, and in order to form it you must start from very far and experience teaches that you must give time to time. The Furlan agricultural company is the result of the labor of a peasant family rooted in this territory. Since then, in a continuous becoming, the company passed to the hands of his grandchildren Amedeo, Alberto and Moreno who, respecting of the tradition, knew how to project it into the future. The owned vineyards stretch on the lands of Conegliano Valdobbiadene DOCG, Treviso DOC and Piave DOC, have always been designed in accordance with the natural landscape and are worked making agronomic and environmentally friendly choices, privileging interventions with low environmental impact. The peculiarities of these soils are: the moraine hills of Conegliano and the stony plains of the Piave river, that allow us to produce wines with very distinct characteristics, unique varietal aromas which celebrate the unique characteristics of the area.
Founded in 1987 by a historic family of winemakers, Astoria of Paolo and Giorgio Polegato makes of quality one of its reasons for pride.
The Astoria products are present in the most exclusive restaurants, wine shops and wine bars.
Astoria distributes wines produced in its Val De Brun Estate Agricultural Company in Refrontolo, in the heart of the DOCG Conegliano Valdobbiadene area.
Forty hectares, situated in one of the most beautiful winegrowing areas in Italy, famous for its climate, testify the sweetness of its hills and its harmonious succession of vineyards.
The company that operates focusing on quality links its name to the product for excellence of the wine tradition of Veneto: Prosecco. And precisely with this wine, Millesimato, has won many awards over the years. The most significant is the Great Golden Medal at the International Wine Competition/Vinitaly in Verona. Prosecco Millesimato, along with Refrontolo Passito Doc, represents the jewels of the house.
But Astoria produces not only Prosecco, but also wines in barrels including the Colli di Conegliano DOC Rosso Croder and Bianco Crevada, and relies on the technical expertise of Dr. Donato Lanati that supports the technical manager of the company, Dr. Roberto Sandrin.
The company is located in the hills and vineyards of the small village of Arfanta in the municipality of Tarzo.
They produce primarily Prosecco Frizzante DOCG and DOC, but also still Prosecco and Merlot.
Col Par consists of 6 hectares of vineyard and makes wine exclusively with its own harvest. From the vineyard to bottling, each processing stage is followed step by step, with passion, to ensure the consumer the highest quality in products.
In addition to the good wine you can enjoy a wonderful panorama, a thousand shades in every month of the year, the ideal place to spend a peaceful and relaxing weekend and, for fans, beautiful walks through the hilly vineyards, meadows and chestnut trees.
They are not restaurateurs, nor hotel keepers, but mainly FARMERS who work in the best way within a rural setting inspired by nature and its products: in a word, by the "ANCIENT TASTE OF SIMPLICITY". Typical products of the Al Col company are: wine (Prosecco, Verdiso, Cabernet) obtained from the vineyards surrounding the company; cold cuts; meats (rustichello chickens, ducks, locally bred rabbits). The company also offers accommodation service in its farmhouse inn in a convenient location for tourists and with cozy rooms.
The Santantoni farm covers a planted with vines surface of about 3 hectares in the heart of the historic area of Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOC.
The Follador family, owner of the company, for 3 generations have grown with unchanged passion the most prized vineyards located at the highest altitude of the production area and often perched on rugged hills.
Luigi Follador, the current owner of the company, obtains only from his own grapes, presented in 4 different versions, all of quality:

The company was founded in 1870, when Tommaso Rondelli decided to plant the first vineyards of Rossese Dolceacqua, a DOC vine exclusive of the Nervian Valley area, in a region of white and clayey soil, called Terre Bianche.
Claudio and Paolo Rondelli and Franco Laconi are the protagonists of the company enlargement in the years 1985 and 1998, that allowed not only a further substantial increase in production, both quantitatively and qualitatively, but also the ideal completion of the farming work with the farmhouse activity.
Since the late nineties Filippo has replaced his father Claudio alongside Paolo and Franco in the company’s management. Since then, the quality of wines has been enhanced further, which have come to obtain the most important awards, with the addition of the experience offered to guests in the farmhouse.
Prosecco Toffoli is a family-owned winery that produces high-quality Prosecco wine using traditional methods. Their vineyards are located in a picturesque landscape, which benefits from the ideal weather conditions for vine growth. The winery has a long history of winemaking, and they have won several awards for their outstanding products. They are committed to sustainable practices, which ensures the health of the vines and the environment. Prosecco Toffoli provides visitors with a unique experience of wine tasting, where they can enjoy the breathtaking views and learn about the winemaking process.
La Pietra del Focolare only produces wine made from its own grapes, four Vermentino wines and a Colli di Luni DOC red wine.
The promotion of four Vermentino wines is due to the different positions of vineyards, divided into micro–zones and located in three municipalities (Sarzana, Ortonovo, Castelnuovo Magra), and to the exposures and soil types that allow us to obtain wines that are different in color, flavor and aroma.

Thanks to the particular climatic exposure of the "Col de Roer", and an accurate technique for the cultivation of vineyards, the grapes produced are of great quality.
Cantine Castello di Verduno is a renowned winery that produces high-quality wines. Vineyard owners for four generations, the Accornero family continues with the same passion and the same commitment of great–grandfather Bartolomeo in producing high quality wines.
Bartolomeo Accornero, who was born in 1839, and his wife Giuseppina Lasagna, already owners of a small farm adjacent to the existing property, had five children: in addition to the conduct of their lands, Bartolomeo, assisted by his son Giuseppe, took care in quality of agricultural tertiary of the estate of the Palace of the Callori Counts (now seat of Enoteca Regionale of Vignale Monferrato).
The result of many years of hard work and savings was the purchase, in 1897, of Cascina Ca’ Cima, from the noble knight Negri. Then, the generation continues with Giovanni Battista Angelo Accornero, son of Giuseppe, who married Alfonsina Coppo. From this union, Giulio Accornero was born, the current owner with his wife Mariuccia and their children Ermanno and Massimo.
Paride Iaretti is no longer a surprise, at least for those who follow us regularly, undoubtedly one of the best producers of "Coste della Sesia", that area between Biella and Vercelli, whose spearhead is the town of Gattinara. This small but crucial producer, who inherited the passion of father Pietro, is proving year after year to have undertaken an ideal path, employing in the best way that the tradition handed down to him and adding his experience and knowledge, to make a series of products that are really excellent.
The diamond tips are, of course, Gattinara Pietro and Gattinara Reserve, two very distinct and recognizable wines: the first evolves in barrels for 36 months and is able to offer itself in the most firm and balanced way in a relatively short time, and therefore it has been on the market since 2007. The second, however, rests for the same period in oak barrels of medium size, follows a more traditional processing and, rightly, ages in the winery until Paride considers it ready to be put on the market: this explains why, currently, the 2004 vintage is for sale. They are two great wines that express very well the character of the land and that of Nebbiolo.
But the quality always remains very high even for other types, such as Coste della Sesia Velut Luna 2009, a single–variety Nebbiolo of great balance, compelling to drink, and Uvenere of the same vintage (indicated with MMIX, being a table wine, since the DOC Coste della Sesia requires a minimum presence of 50% of Nebbiolo), a blend of Nebbiolo and local grape varieties like Vespolina, Croatina and Bonarda. This latter is right the symbol of pure enjoyment, a perfect companion at the table, with an absolutely inviting price.
The Montezemolo family owned many estates, among which an ancient palace in the upper part of the city of Mondovì, called Mondovì Piazza, is still belonging to them. The estate, called IL COLOMBO, was built in the eighteenth century and later enlarged. By the middle of the nineteenth century, the high tower in Gothic Revival style was built, and at the end of the same, the gate on the square in front of the palace. The Chapel, which perhaps was originally a small independent church, is currently a construction of the beginning of the nineteenth century, showing on its front a more ancient emblem made of stone that depicts the coat of arms of Montezemolo.
The family of Baron Riccati bought the property from the same in 1989, restoring the home, the victim of a long abandon, reactivating and expanding the vineyard and building a winery to produce a Dolcetto, a wine typical of these hills, now much quoted in the industry press, national or international.
In 2006, its property passed to a married couple of Norwegian origin, named Britt and Theo Holm in Oslo, who continued to use the property while maintaining the character of a holiday home. The few renovations are made with the utmost respect and wine production, as well as the care of the vineyards was entrusted, on the advice of the same Carlo Riccati, to Sabina Bosio and Bruno Chionetti, friends with whom he shared a part of the company’s progress, act to enhance the Dolcetto grape variety, which dominates on this hill, in a landscape that has not changed for three centuries. Sabina, after years spent helping her husband, who is leading an important company in Dogliani, develops a work experience and a remarkable maturity, both at the level of the winery, and in vinification, followed not only by her husband, but also by the oenologist Beppe Caviola, who in the work in the countryside has had excellent teachers, the agronomist Gian Piero Romana first and Massimo Pinna later.
This team provides an excellent final result, in our opinion, that reflects in every way the hills where our wines are created. Hills where there is still biodiversity, that allows us to work in a natural and non–invasive way our vineyards. Not by chance, we are concluding the bureaucratic process for the classification of organic wine, to give the final consumer all the guarantees and the naturalness and genuineness that only an area like ours can give.
We are in a small area of High Piedmont, at the foot of Monte Rosa, we have Alps that protect our shoulders and a view as far as the eye can see towards the Po Valley. A territory where, among many others, the Nebbiolo grape variety has found its place before it went to seek its fortune in other areas of Piedmont. For us, this grape, locally called Spanna, along with Vespolina, Croatina, Uva Rara, wrote a history of wine since the eighteenth century.
A tradition and a culture that have been eroded with the rapid development of the textile industry in Biella in the twentieth century.
The company is based in the Castle of Castellengo and its wines rest in the old wine cellar of the manor.
