GARDA DOC CONSORTIUM – Peschiera del Garda (Veneto)

GARDA DOC ON BOARD

The Garda Doc Consortium will bring the wines of the denomination aboard the Zanardelli motor ship. A review of four weekly evenings, on Thursdays in the month of June, aimed at the public of wine enthusiasts, who will be able to deepen their knowledge of the wines of the appellation, which brings together a great variety of types, from varietals to bubbles. All of this by embarking on the Zanardelli motorboat in Peschiera del Garda and enjoying a cocktail dinner where the wines of the producers of the Consortium will be matched with dishes of the typical Garda cuisine, accompanied by live music, while sailing in the waters of Lake Garda, immersed in a evocative setting.

TOMMASI FAMILY ESTATES – Veneto, Tuscany, Basilicata

Summer 2023 of Tommasi Family Estates will be dedicated to guiding the public in the discovery of three significant territories for the world of Italian wine. Three areas where the Tommasi family has taken root and where it is developing an offer designed specifically for both wine lovers and the simply curious. The Historic Cellar in Valpolicella, Podere Casisano in Montalcino and Paternoster in Vulture, Basilicata, will offer unique opportunities in the coming months to taste Tommasi wines in front of the wonderful panoramas offered by the Bel Paese. The Tommasi Wine Hospitality website, in fact, contains complete packages that can be booked online and which offer the possibility of discovering these wineries also from a new point of view and inextricably linked to the territory in which they are located. Wine journeys to discover magical places known to the public such as Montalcino but also dedicated to more hidden but no less fascinating pearls such as Basilicata, Aglianico del Vulture and volcanic wines, which can be tasted through the Welcome Paternoster package, including both a visit to the Barone's cellar and the current production and aging cellar.

TALOSA FARM - Montepulciano (Tuscany)

THE HISTORIC CELLAR: A LEAP INTO THE ITALIAN RENAISSANCE

The oldest Talosa aging cellar is located in the historic center of Montepulciano, in the basement of Palazzo Tarugi and Palazzo Sinatti, built in the first decades of the 16th century opposite the Cathedral of Montepulciano.

Entering the Historic Cellar takes visitors back in time to the Italian Renaissance in the 16th century. The galleries, entirely built in bricks, alternate in a succession of vaults and niches where the barrels are placed. An evocative environment, which reveals its strength and majesty, where the large oak barrels, with a capacity of 115 hectoliters, allow the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano to mature and refine. Step after step, you go down 15 meters underground and arrive inside a suggestive room, where visitors are offered an exciting wine experience. The space was brought to light thanks to a work carried out in synergy with the Fine Arts, after having obtained the authorization to proceed with the excavations and is a fundamental piece to crown the Talosa wine tourism offer.

GRADIS'CIUTTA - Collio (Friuli)

LIVE THE EXPERIENCE OF NATURE BATHING

At the Gradis'ciutta winery, in the magical landscapes of the Collio hills, on the border between Friuli and Slovenia, it is possible to experience an active immersion in the atmosphere of the estate's vineyards. Moments in which to fully enjoy the anti-stress therapeutic effects generated by the contact of one's senses with the natural elements: views of greenery and harmonious landscapes, sounds-silences, earth/plants-scents, tactile sensations, flavors of the fruits of the earth. The aim is total relaxation and the discovery of wine from a totally new point of view, that is tasting it with all 5 senses: sight, smell, taste, touch and inner listening. The whole experience will be guided by a sommelier and will develop right among those rows that give life to the wines that will be tasted.
