The double appointment scheduled for Sunday 19 and Sunday 26 September 2021 has also been confirmed for this edition.
The initiative, promoted by Go Wine, has over time become a much loved event by the public of Italian and foreign wine lovers; a format that, once again this year, will allow you to follow the itinerary of Piazza Risorgimento (Piazza Duomo) and Via Cavour and Piazza San Giovanni, transforming the historic center into an ideal 'wine route' for one day.
In case of bad weather the event will be moved to a covered structure near Piazza Risorgimento.
The event involves the wineries of the municipalities of Langa and Roero , maintaining its connotation of festive event, which recalls the time and the joyful character of the harvest, with the presence of local promotion realities, wineries, wine shops and producer associations.
On both days, from 13.45 to 19.15 the producers, organized through the participating Municipalities, will present their productions for tasting and will promote their territorial reality and their events.
From the famous Barolo and Barbaresco, flagships of the territory, to the other noble wines of the Langhe and Roero: Nebbiolo d'Alba, Roero, Roero Arneis, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, di Diano and Dogliani, and many other wines.
An extraordinary tasting counter is announced with many labels represented: an extraordinary opportunity to learn about new and different products, to savor the charm of a journey in the historic center of the city, knowing the typical products that mark the hills around Alba.
Each visitor will be able to carry out the tastings by purchasing the glass and the pocket, with the possibility of choosing and comparing the wines offered for tasting.
Two tasting sessions every day.The event is organized safely and taking into account the provisions in place for the containment of the coronavirus. For these reasons we have planned two tasting sessions, with limited numbers, which the public can access upon reservation. We invite those who read us to kindly abide by these prescriptions, to avoid otherwise gatherings that are not allowed. We remind you that to participate in the event it is necessary to have a Green Pass.
