Eight of the major cities in Italy will therefore be involved in the South Tyrolean Wines Roadshow, a series of events strongly desired by the Consortium to reach those operators in the sector whose contact with South Tyrolean wines has been lacking due to cancellation of many sector events.
"We have chosen to give a signal to Italy: South Tyrol is there and is ready to roll up its sleeves and grind kilometers to meet all those operators who, due to the causes we all know, have not been able to get to know our wines at trade fairs such as Vinitaly or Prowein ", explains Eduard Bernhart, Director of the South Tyrolean Wine Consortium. "We strongly believe in the quality and versatility of our wines, which can be paired with infinite types of dishes and cuisines typical of all of Italy, from seafood to mountain cuisine. Our wines also enjoy great longevity and to tell their story. aging potential will be offered in each seminar, in addition to the labels of the vintages on the market, also two old vintages. The format can involve up to 80 participants in each stage divided into two distinct seminars lasting an hour and a half each. The Roadshow, hosted by high-level hotels, will offer participants not only the opportunity to taste 10 of the best references in South Tyrol, but will also ensure that the seminars take place in total safety and in compliance with the anti-Covid regulations in force.
Participation in the seminars is reserved for sector operators such as wine merchants, restaurateurs, distributors and journalists, upon registration on the Eventbrite platform.
