A number of vineyards in Piazza della Signoria thanks to the Frescobaldi family!
Unusual and interesting choice of the De Frescobaldi Marquises to celebrate the 10 years of the Restaurant & Wine Bar "Dei Frescobaldi": a corridor of vineyards in the heart of Florence.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the installation of the vineyards took place on June 5 in the presence of the assessor forculture Sergio Givone, the Marchioness Bona Frescobaldi and the Marquis Vittorio Frescobaldi.
A beautiful corridor of 30 meters of vineyards, coming from the Castle Nipozzano, re-designs Piazza della Signoria. The occasion is the celebration of the 10 years of the Restaurant & Wine Bar of the "Frescobaldi" family.
"We are proud of our restaurant - Diana Frescobaldi says, CEO of" dei Frescobaldi Retail & Restaurant "- which has been for 10 years in the heart of the city and, hopefully, of many Florentines and of all those who visit it to taste our dishes and the wines of the Tuscan tradition. Our strong point? The fact of proposing the best selection of Frescobaldi wines in the glass, accompanied by typical Tuscan recipes, in a cheerful and elegant environment. "
We want to dwell on the point of strength: "The best selection of Frescobaldi wines ...". In fact, it is understandable that this series of beautiful vineyards in the heart of Florence celebrates the restaurant as an important piece of the relationship between the Frescobaldi family and the Tuscan capital, which began in 300 and is still alive today. A relationship that is alive, as alive is their vineyard in Florence.
The installation presents the 5 properties owned by the Marquis Frescobaldi. To illustrate them, a path with photos and descriptions of: Castiglioni, estate of the family since 1300, the Castle of Nipozzano, charming place in the heart of Chianti Rufina, the Castle of Pomino on the slopes of the Apennines, Castelgiocondo, a few kilometers far from Montalcino, and finally Ammiraglia, in the earth of Maremma, inaugurated last year.
These properties are some of the jewels of Tuscany and bear witness to the long and noble tradition that the Frescobaldi family has in the field of vine and wine.
For 2 days in Florence, curious people and tourists can enjoy a taste of Tuscany in one of the most important squares of Florence.
